Qatar Handball Team Beat Lisbon 19-22

Doha, August 07 (QNA) - Qatar handball team beat Lisbon team 22-19 in their second qualifying match on Tuesday as they prepared for the 18th Asian Games to be held in Indonesia from August 18 to September 2.
The Qatari team won the first test match on the Portuguese team yesterday 27/22.
Today's match is the latest test match for the Qatari team before leaving for Indonesia next Saturday, where the handball competitions will start on August 13 (5 days before the official opening of the tournament).
Qatar team was drawn in first group alongside Iran and Malaysia, the second group includes South Korea, Japan and Pakistan, the third group includes Indonesia, Saudi Arabia and Hong Kong, and the fourth group includes Bahrain, China Taipei, India and Iraq.
Qatar team is keen to retain the gold medal they won in the last edition of the Asian Games held in the Korean city of Ansan in 2014 after a 24-21 win in the final against Korea. (QNA)
