Qatar to Host GCC Musical Arts Festival on 25 December

Doha, December 14 (QNA) - Qatar will host the activities of the GCC Musical Arts Festival during the period from 25 to 28 December at Qatar National Theatre. The festival, which is organized under the auspices of the Ministry of Culture, Arts and Heritage, is an implementation of the decisions taken by the 18th meeting of the GCC Ministers of Culture in Riyadh on 10/10/2012. It aims to discover GCC talents in poetry, singing and composing, especially among young people who will have the opportunity to participate and present themselves to the public.     The festival will be launched by an Operetta and will see the participation of a number of GCC artists. The first edition of the GCC Musical Arts Festival was held in Kuwait in 2011. (QNA)
