The seminar titled "Delivering Professional Congress Organization: engaging all" will take place at the Qatar National Convention Center (QNCC) on 10 and 11 March, 2015. The IAPCO Regional Seminar will provide specialized training for all those involved in the Meeting Incentives Conventions and Exhibitions (MICE) industry, including professional conference organizers (PCOs), destination management companies (DMCs), convention and visitor bureaus, venue operators, and exhibition management companies. IAPCO's education program is regulated by the IAPCO Training Academy where over 1,700 people worldwide have obtained an IAPCO Seminar certificate of Attendance. QTA is inviting all its stakeholders from the public and private sector to take part in the seminar, as it believes the seminar will provide them with invaluable insight into the business' latest methods and trends. QTA also pointed out that the seminar is specifically structured to suit Qatar and the Gulf region for world-class knowledge, training and best practices. QTA further said that participation in the seminar is strictly limited, adding that the deadline for potential attendants to submit applications is by Thursday 26 February 2015. QTA also noted that a certificate of attendance from IAPCO will be awarded to all participants. QTA stressed that it is keen to host the IAPCO Regional Seminar as it allows the exchange of views and discussions with decision-makers and event organizers to serve and develop the MICE industry based on international standards. Talking about the benefits of the seminar for the local business meetings industry, Director of Exhibitions at QTA Hamad Al Abdan said: "In line with the objectives set by the National Tourism Sector Strategy 2030, QTA exerts significant efforts to support the international meetings sector, eventually leading to a successful and sustainable tourism industry. Within this context, the IAPCO Regional Seminar is designed to provide all those who are involved in the meetings industry with tips, trends and current planning, thus with the vital detailed organizational and operational elements to manage international association meetings."
