Qatar Hosts Students Participating in Model United Nations

Doha, March 20 (QNA) - Qatar, under the patronage of the Foreign Ministry and in association with the Qatari embassy in Beirut, has hosted secondary stage students from Makassed Association's Khadija Al Kobra College who are taking part in the Model United Nations (MUN). The students will represent Qatar in the program hosted by the Lebanese American University and different private schools participate in it. The delegation thanked HE Foreign Minister Dr. Khalid bin Mohammed Al Attiyah for taking care of the students and ensuring that they get information from the genuine sources. They also expressed gratitude to HE Qatar's Ambassador to Lebanon Ali bin Hamad Al Marri for patronizing the project and following up on their affairs on a daily basis. The delegation visited the Foreign Ministry and met Ambassador Dr. Mutlaq bin Majed Nasser Al Qahtani, director of the Department of International Organizations and Conferences. They also visited the National Human Rights Committee, Al Jazeera Channel, Qatar Foundation, the Museum of Islamic Art and Katara before returning to Lebanon to participate in the conference and convey what they experienced on the ground.
