Qatar Ministry of Environment Participates in awareness-raising Exhibitions and Events

Doha, June 08 (QNA) - The Ministry of Environment participated in a number of exhibitions organized last month by several stakeholders in Qatar. The Management of Awareness and Environmental Education was involved in the first schools exhibition for health-promotion which was at "Qatar Primary School for Girls" due to its environmental contributions in enhancing the importance of health and environment among all society members, most importantly schools' students in all levels of education. The exhibition focused on enhancing health and preserving the environment noting that the management's participation was through offering brochures, booklets and pamphlets that explain its activities and programs. The management participated also in the environment exhibition at "Om Hani Primary School for Girls" where it is allocated with health promotion and environment preservation. The management participation was manifested also through offering brochures, booklets and pamphlets that explain the exhibitions activities and programs. The exhibition included several agricultural, heritage, and theatrical events and workshops and a presentation of graphics about environment made by the students. In the context of these successful events, the management also participated in the health exhibition of (health and life) in "Al-Aqsa Elementary Schools for Girls" in order to promote health and preserve the environment. The participation of the management in cooperation with Hamad Medical Corporation (HMC), "Guided Me" campaign and other stakeholders was through offering booklets and brochures that explain the exhibitions activities and various programs in addition to displaying students' art models that were made from recycled papers, plastic and other materials. The Exhibition that was attended by 40 different bodies, included several sections covering all the important medical topics and the most important common diseases in the presence of a group of doctors who have explained and educate public with health issues.
