Qatar Olympic Committee Signs MoU with Indonesian Counterpart

Doha, February 10 (QNA) - Qatar Olympic Committee (QOC) signed Wednesday a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Indonesian Olympic Committee to promote the bilateral cooperation in the fields of sports. The MoU was signed by HE First Vice-President of Qatar Olympic Committee Sheikh Saud bin Ali Al-Thani and President of the Indonesian Olympic Committee Raja Sapta Oktohari. The MoU aims at expanding areas of joint sports cooperation to serve the Olympic movement in both countries, such as encouraging the exchange of visits by sports delegations, coaches, experts and specialists in sports and physical education, and the exchange of information and views on sports and issues related to physical activity and other areas of common interest, in addition to coordinating positions and views during world sporting events and tournaments. The signing ceremony was attended by HE Secretary-General of Qatar Olympic Committee Jassim bin Rashid Al Buainain and HE Secretary-General of the Indonesian Olympic Committee Ferry J. Kono. (QNA)
