Qatar Participates in Arab Network for National Human Rights Institutions' Meeting

Cairo, May 03 (QNA) - Chairman of the National Human Rights Committee (NHRC) Dr Ali bin Smaikh Al Marri participated in the general assembly of Arab Network for National Human Rights Institutions in Cairo. The meeting approved the Network's bylaw and its strategic and functional plans. It also saw the transfer of the Network's chairmanship from the Moroccan National Human Rights Council to the Egyptian National Human Rights Council. The meeting also chose Jordanian National Center for Human Rights to host the Network's general assembly in May 2015. (QNA)
