Qatar Participates in GCC Agricultural Cooperation Committee

Doha, May 29 (QNA) - Qatar, represented by a delegation headed by HE Minister of Environment Ahmed bin Amer Al Humaidi, took part in the 25th meeting of GCC agricultural cooperation committee, which concluded in Kuwait early Thursday . The said committee members discussed a set of issues put forward by sub-committees such as agricultural policies and system as well as livestock and fisheries. The participant ministers reviewed the minutes of the livestock permanent committee's extraordinary meeting on Coronavirus and were briefed on a memorandum of understanding signed between GCC general secretariat and the International Fund for Agricultural Development (IFAD).
