Qatar Participates in Ministerial Consultation on Overseas Employment in Asia

Kuwait, November 27 (QNA) - Qatar took part in the third ministerial consultation on overseas employment and contractual labor for countries of origin and destination in Asia, commonly known as Abu Dhabi Dialogue. HE Minister of Labor and Social Affairs Dr. Abdullah bin Saleh Al Khulaifi led Qatar's delegation to the meeting, which was held in Kuwait. Labor ministers and senior officials from 18 countries of origin and destination took part in the meeting as well. The event reviewed pioneering projects and reports in this regard and showed a document on an awareness program for mobile labor. It also discussed the best practices of member states in protecting the rights of temporary contractual labor. (QNA)
