Qatar participates in recruitment committees of the Federation of GCC Chambers

Doha, December 21 (QNA) - The Recruitment Committee of Qatar Chamber of Commerce and industry (Qatar Chamber) has participated in meetings of recruitment committees of the Federation of GCC Chambers, held at the headquarters of the Saudi Chambers Council in Riyadh. The meeting discussed ways of addressing problems of the GCC recruitment market such as the increasing recruitment cost prices, employees monthly wages and imposition of impossible conditions for sending domestic workers and others. Meanwhile Qatar Chamber will host from 14 to 16 December next year the fair: Made in China 2015, which the Chamber will organize with the support of the Ministry of Trade of People's Republic of China. A press conference is scheduled to be held early next January in Beijing to announce the launch of the promotional campaign for the fair. Deputy Director General of Qatar Chamber Saleh Hamad Al-Sharqi said the Made in China Fair 2015 will not be a fair to sell Chinese products but will rather provide an opportunity for concluding deals between companies and businessmen in GCC , Arab and North African states with major Chinese companies operating in the areas of building, construction, technology and infrastructure. He stressed that the Chamber approval to sponsor this fair stems from the fact that fairs realize the real value of Arab economy as development projects in the region require strategic partnerships with major Chinese firms that serve the development plans and objectives of regional states. Al-Sharqi meanwhile praised the efforts of the Embassy of the State of Qatar in China, which coordinates with the Chinese Ministry of Trade to organize this fair that will be held on an area of 15 thousand square meters with the participation of more than 300 major Chinese companies engaged in construction, construction, infrastructure and technology.(QNA)
