Qatar Pledges to Organize Safe World Cup in 2022

Berlin, November 19 (QNA) - Executive Director of Communications and Marketing of the Supreme Committee for Delivery and Legacy Nasser Al Khater has underlined that Qatar will organize "a safe World Cup in 2022, adding that his country has made great achievements in the field of workers ' rights. In an interview with the German weekly Bild Sport newspaper published today, Al Khater said: "we care about providing security and safety for all in the World Cup, we have no doubt that the security factors in the 2022 tournament will not impeccable". The laws are in line with international standards, to provide clear rules to protect workers, "where there have been no other deaths and that their living conditions had improved considerably, Al Khater noted. He pledged that Qatar will host a wonderful tournament that would exceed all expectations ", adding that the World Cup would be historically incorporated as will allow the fans, media and officials to attend more than match in one day and in one place.(QNA)
