Qatar Rejects Statements of Abdullah Al Thinni

Doha, September 15 (QNA) - HE Assistant Foreign Minister for Foreign Affairs Mohammed bin Abdullah Al Rumaihi has expressed the State of Qatar's rejection and disapproval of the statements made by Abdullah Al Thinni concerning the interference of the State of Qatar in the internal affairs of Libya.     In a statement to Qatar News Agency, he reiterated that these allegations and claims are misleading and unfounded, adding that the policy of the State of Qatar is based on clear and consistent foundations: mutual respect and non-interference in the internal affairs of other countries. He stressed the serious nature of these allegations, adding that it would be appropriate for Al Thinni to ensure the accuracy before releasing such statements, especially since he did not say a word against the bombing of his country and its citizens recently, even though he did not criticize the armed interference in his country. His Excellency called for not to involve the State of Qatar in the internal differences in Libya. He reiterated Qatar's keenness on the security and the stability of the brotherly Libyan people, as embodied by the State of Qatar's continuous support for the Libyan people since the beginning of their glorious revolution until now.   HE Assistant Minister for Foreign Affairs concluded his statement by calling on all Libyan parties to allow the language of reason and wisdom to prevail over that of force and arms, and to start a process of comprehensive national dialogue to meet the brotherly Libyan people's aspirations and to uphold the security and integrity of Libya.
