Qatar Scout and Guide Association to Participate in International Events

Istanbul, August 07 (QNA) - The Scout and Guide Association of Qatar is currently participating in the 7th Scout International Festival in Turkey, which will be held from August 6 to 12, in addition to Scouts teams belonging to 17 Arab and foreign countries. The camp for Scout members (young) includes a set of scouts and educational activities, in addition to a tourist program that includes introducing the host country. On the other hand, the Scout and Guide Association of Qatar is participating with a delegation of 10 mobile scouts and mobile scout leader (17 to 23 year-old) at Maghreb Forum under the slogan "100 years of mobile scout", which will be held in Tunisia from 7 to 14 August, in order to strengthen ties of friendship and Arab spirit among the participants and strengthen their unity to work to build and promote their societies and preserve the Arab heritage. The Scout and Guide Association of Qatar will participate in the 32nd Arab Scouts Camp, which will be hosted by Algeria from 25 August to 5 September under the theme the "Arab Dream". Commissioner-General of the Scout and Guide Association of Qatar Jassim Al Hardan, told Qatar News Agency (QNA) that these partnerships enhance the scouting skills of Qatari scouts at various levels, and instill in them the belonging to homeland and the ability to take responsibility and self-reliance as they acquire new experiences and skills, as well as discovering different cultures.
