Qatar, Sudan Discuss Cooperation in Humanitarian Field

Doha, May 04 (QNA) - Director General of Regulatory Authority for Charitable Activities (RACA) Khalid Abdulwahid Al Hammadi discussed, during a meeting with Sudanese Minister of International Cooperation Dr. Kamal Hassan Ali, aspects of cooperation in the field of human development and charitable activities. The two sides also discussed the activation of the Arab League's decision on the formation of a joint mechanism for the Arab States with the mission of arrangement and coordination for partnerships in the development field during this year. During the meeting, Al Hammadi stressed the importance of partnerships in the humanitarian fields, and the promotion of Arab and Islamic countries through supporting charity and development projects. For his part, the Sudanese Minister praised the Qatari-Sudanese relations, especially in the development, humanitarian and relief fields. (QNA)
