Qatari Ambassador Meets NATO Assistant Secretary-General

Brussels, October 11 (QNA) - Assistant Secretary General for Political Affairs and Security Policy at the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) Thrasyvoulos Terry Stamatopoulos met with Qatar's Ambassador to the Kingdom of Belgium HE Sheikh Ali bin Jassim Al-Thani at the NATO headquarters in Brussels on Saturday. Talks during the meeting dealt with bilateral relations between the State of Qatar and the NATO and means of enhancing them in addition to discussing arrangements for the Conference of the regional Gulf Security due to be hosted by Qatar in the end of this year within the framework of the celebrations of the 10th anniversary of the Istanbul Cooperation Initiative (ICI).
