Qatari Embassy Celebrates Opening of Premises in Myanmar

Yangon, November 20 (QNA) - The Embassy of the State of Qatar in the Republic of the Union of Myanmar held a ceremony Thursday at Sedona Hotel in Yangon on the occasion of the opening of its premises. The ceremony was attended by Deputy Foreign Minister of Myanmar U Thant Kyaw who took part in the ribbon cutting of the Qatari Embassy premises with HE Qatar's Non-Resident Ambassador to Myanmar Jabor bin Ali Al Dousari. The ceremony was also attended by a number of departments' directors at the Foreign Ministry and businessmen from Myanmar. In his speech delivered on this occasion, the Deputy Foreign Minister of Myanmar expressed his government's pleasure for opening an Embassy of the State of Qatar in Myanmar, looking forward to further relations of cooperation. He also said that his government will begin in the near future the necessary steps to open an embassy in Doha. (QNA)
