Qatari Embassy in Lebanon Marks National Day

Beirut, December 19 (QNA) - HE Qatar's Ambassador to Lebanon Ali Hamad Al Marri has held a reception on the occasion of Qatar national day. The ceremony was attended by Lebanese Minister of Labour Sajaan Gezi, representing the Prime Minister Tammam Salam, and a number of Ministers, a number of current and former lawmakers and Arab and foreign ambassadors accredited to Lebanon, along with politics, culture, art, media persons , partisan, religious and the Lebanese military figures. In a speech on the occasion, HE Ambassador Al-Marri extended congratulations to HH the Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al -Thani, HH the Father Emir Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa Al-Thani, the Qatari people and all residents of the State of Qatar. He underlined that sustainable development is the cornerstone of the ambitions of the State which find their expression in Qatar National Vision 2030 based on strengthening the role and interest of ensuring human well-being, income diversification and the development of other productive sectors.(QNA)
