Qatari Embassy in Mauritania Celebrates National Day

Nouakchott, December 19 (QNA) - The Qatari Embassy in Mauritania hosted last night a reception to celebrate the National Day when the founder of the State of Qatar Sheikh Jassim bin Mohammad Al Than assumed the power. The ceremony was attended by a large number of Mauritanian ministers and officials including Minister of Foreign Affairs and Cooperation Hamadi Ould Baba Ould Hamadi, as well as heads of the Arab diplomatic missions accredited to Mauritania and heads of Mauritanian political parties. The ceremony was also attended by a number of Mauritanian intellectual figures and civil society leaders. HE Qatar's Ambassador to Mauritania Mohamed Bin Kurdi Taleb Al Merri greeted the guests who attended the reception. (QNA)
