Doha, January 27 (QNA) - The Islamic Dawah Organization has dispatched a humanitarian aid convoy to Gambia donated by good doers in the State of Qatar. The convoy consists of 20 tones of relief supplies, including chairs for school students. Director General of Qatar's office of the Islamic Dawah Organization Shaikh Hammad Abdul-Qader Al Shaikh said that the convoy also consists of electric generators and Islamic dresses for women, noting that the Gambian people suffer from the lack the electricity which is mainly important for providing water for their houses, farms and animals. He also highlighted the importance of the convoy as Gambian women cannot wear the Islamic dress due to their difficult economic situation, and that many students do not find chairs in schools to set.
