Qatari Riders Qualify for Asian Games 2018

Bangkok, August 10 (QNA) - Qatari riders Ali Al Marri, Saeed Al Rashedi and Hassan Al Naimi qualified for the Asian Games, which will be held in the Indonesian capital Jakarta from August 18 to September 2, after achieving good results in FEI Asian Championships for Seniors, which concluded on Thursday in Thailand. Qatar riders won the gold medal in 2006 Asian Games in Doha and achieved many international and regional titles. President of Asian Equestrian Federation (AEF) and Qatar Equestrian Federation (QEF) Hamad bin Abdulrahman Al Attiyah said that Qatari riders are able to achieve many achievements in Asian Games in Jakarta and raise the name of Qatar high in the continental and international forums. Al Attiyah thanked HE President of Qatar Olympic Committee Sheikh Joaan bin Hamad Al-Thani, for the great support provided to equestrian and providing all the needs of the Qatar riders during their participation in continental and international tournaments.
