Qatari-Saudi Official Talks

Riyadh, February 17 (QNA) - HH the Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani and the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud discussed a number of regional and international issues of mutual concern particularly the latest developments in the region and exchanged views on all that could attain the region's stability and peace. During the official session of talks, held at the palace of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques at Arqa area in Riyadh today, the two sides discussed the close bilateral relations between the two brotherly countries and means of developing them in various fields for the good and interests of the two countries and their brotherly peoples. The talks also reviewed the joint Gulf action drive and means of enhancing it to fulfil the expectations and aspirations of the Gulf peoples. The session was attended by HE Prime Minister and Minister of Interior Sheikh Abdullah bin Nasser bin Khalifa Al-Thani and Their Excellencies members of the official delegation accompanying HH the Emir. On the Saudi side, the session was attended by Saudi Crown Prince and Deputy Prime Minister Muqrin bin Abdulaziz Al Saud; Deputy Crown Prince, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior Prince Mohamed bin Nayef bin Abdulaziz; Governor of Riyadh Region Prince Faisal bin Bandar bin Abdulaziz Al Saud; Minister of National Guard Prince Miteb bin Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud; Minister of Defence, Chief of the Royal Court and Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques' Special Advisor Mohamed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz; Minister of State and Cabinet Member Dr. Musaad bin Mohamed Al-Ayban; and Minister of Finance Dr. Ibrahim bin Abdulaziz Al-Assaf.
