Qatars Al Attiyah Elected President of Arab Judo Federation

Doha, February 20 (QNA) - The Arab Judo Federation unanimously elected president of the Qatar Taekwondo, Judo and Karate Federation Khalid bin Hamad Al Attiyah, as president of the Arab Judo Federation. Al Attiyah will officially assume the new position through the meeting of the Executive Office of the Arab Federation, which will be held in Jordan in March. The Arab Judo Federation recently chose Khalid Al Attiyah as the head of its Military and Police Committee. Al Attiyah valued the permanent support of HE President of the Qatar Olympic Committee Sheikh Joaan bin Hamad Al-Thani for Qatari sports and the Qatari administrative cadres to occupy the highest Arab, continental and international positions, which helped these cadres prove their ability and efficiency in assuming foreign positions. It is noteworthy that Jordan will organize the next Arab Judo Championship in cooperation with the Arab Federation, which will include competitions in all categories. (QNA)
