Qatar's Attorney General Meets Officials from International Association of Prosecutors

Doha, December 01 (QNA) - HE Attorney General Dr. Ali bin Fetais Al Marri on Tuesday met with International Association of Prosecutors (IAP) President Gerhard Jarosch and Secretary General Rasmus Wandall. During the meeting, they discussed aspects of bilateral cooperation, preparations for signing a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with the IAP on the exchange of expertise and training of public prosecutors in addition to the proposal of Qatar's hosting of the regional conference of prosecutors. HE the attorney general expressed readiness to support IAP's efforts for promoting the principle of public prosecutions' independence. In turn, the IAP officials expressed willingness to cooperate with the public prosecution and starting the preparation for the implementation of the cooperation program. (QNA)
