Qatar's Embassy Delivers Medical Aid by Qatar Charity to Paraguay

Asuncin, July 21 (QNA) - The Embassy of the State of Qatar in the Republic of Paraguay delivered aid by Qatar Charity to the Ministry of Public Health and Social Welfare in Paraguay, which includes medical equipment, supplies and devices for dealing with coronavirus (Covid-19), in addition to 500 food parcels and hygiene kits. The aid was received by HE Minister of Public Health and Social Welfare Julio Mazzoleni in the presence of HE Minister of Foreign Affairs Antonio Rivas Palacios and HE Acting Charge D'affaires of the Embassy of the State of Qatar to Paraguay Saeed bin Hamad Al Marri. Minister of Public Health and Social Welfare of Paraguay thanked, in a speech during a ceremony that took place in the Ministry, Qatar Charity for this assistance and praised the good relations between Qatar and Paraguay, adding "we appreciate the assistance coming from the friendly State of Qatar, especially in light of these difficult circumstances." HE the Minister of Foreign Affairs also thanked Qatar Charity for this assistance. Acting Charge D'affaires of the Embassy of the State of Qatar to Paraguay Saeed bin Hamad Al Marri delivered a speech in which he emphasized the strong ties that link the State of Qatar and the Republic of Paraguay and the constant endeavor to strengthen and develop them in various fields. Al Marri thanked Qatar Charity for the humanitarian work it provided to help those in need around the world and the impact this assistance had, especially in light of the current situation. (QNA)
