Qatar's Embassy in Kenya Celebrates National Day

Nairobi, December 17 (QNA) -- HE Qatar's Ambassador to Kenya Ibrahim bin Mohammed Al Abdullah hosted a reception on the occasion of Qatar National Day. The reception was attended by Kenyan Mining Minister Najib Balala, as a representative of the Kenyan government, Minister of Energy and Oil David Churchil, a number of representatives of government agencies and the Parliament, ambassadors of Arab and Western countries, businessmen, international organizations, UN offices and directors of bodies accredited to Nairobi. In a speech at the function, HE Ambassador Al-Abdullah welcomed the audience extending his deepest congratulations and blessings to HH the Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani and the Qatari people . For his part, the representative of the Kenyan government gave a speech on this occasion in which he expressed his thanks to HH the Emir and the Government of the State of Qatar for the contribution it provide to strengthen relations between the two countries.(QNA)
