Qatar's Embassy in Panama Holds National Day Celebration Ceremony

Panama, December 18 (QNA) - Qatar's embassy in Panama held a reception ceremony to mark Qatar's National Day. Acting Deputy Foreign Minister Maria Luisa Navarro attended the ceremony along with President of the Supreme Court Jose Ayu Prado, a number of officials from the Foreign Ministry and the Panamanian government, some members of the diplomatic missions accredited to Panama, and a group of Arab expats in Panama. In a welcoming speech during the event, HE Qatar's Ambassador to Panama Nasser bin Rashid Al Nuaimi underlined the friendly ties between the two countries and highlighted the history of Qatar since the time of its founder Sheikh Jassim bin Mohamed bin Thani.
