Qatar's Environment Minister Meets Indian Cultural Centre Chief

Doha, June 30 (QNA) - HE the Minister of Environment Ahmed bin Amer Al Humaidi met here on Tuesday with the President of the Indian Cultural Centre in Doha Girish Kumar and the Vice President Seenu S Pillai. HE the Minister gave them a commemorative gift in recognition of the Centre's contribution to the success of the awareness campaigns carried to mark Qatar's Environment Day. Director of Public Relations and Communication in the Ministry, Mohsen Al Khayareen said that such contributions are highly appreciated as they reflect the joint cooperation with the Ministry in national campaigns for environmental awareness. He added that the Philippine and the Nepalese Communities in Doha have applied to take part in the 2016 environment awareness campaigns. (QNA)
