Qatar's Minister of Transport and Communications Meets Italian Ports Association Secretary General

Doha, July 16 (QNA) - HE Minister of Transport and Communications Jassim bin Saif Al Sulaiti met Monday with HE Secretary General of Italian Ports Association (ASSOPORTI) Francesco Mariani. The meeting discussed the cooperation relations between the State of Qatar and the Italian Republic in the ports sector, which opens new horizons in exchanging expertise and investments between ports in Italy and Qatar. The meeting also discussed establishing joint cooperating and effective alliances in the maritime business between both sides, cooperating in managing ports and operations, training and developing employees' skills, exchanging ideas and the best procedures to improve ports' production. HE Ambassador of Italian Republic to Qatar Pasquale Salzano attended the meeting. (QNA)
