Qatar's Minister of Youth and Sports Participates in Peace and Sport Forum

Monaco, November 28 (QNA) - HE Minister of Youth and Sports, Salah bin Ghanem Al Ali, took part in the 8th Peace and Sport International Forum in Monaco. The conference discussed a number of issues and topics relating to peace and sport in the world through a series of sessions, seminars and workshops in which international politicians and sport senior officials have participated. On the sidelines of the event, HE Minister of Youth and Sports met with H.S.H. Prince Albert II of Monaco and the President of the Forum. Talks during the meeting dealt with aspects of joint cooperation and means of enhancing relations between the two countries in the field of youth and sports. HE Al Ali also held meetings with a number of ministers of youth and sports and the athletes participating in the Forum, during which they discussed joint cooperation and exchanged views on peace and sport-related issues. The Minister participated in the 'Peace and Sport' walk, gathering 1,000 people, as part of the Peace and Sport international Forum. Peace and Sport Forum mission is to promote sustainable peace by raising awareness throughout society and by teaching young people about peace using the structuring values of sport. (QNA)
