Qatar's Permanent Mission to UN Marks National Day

New York, December 18 (QNA) - Qatar's Permanent Mission to the United Nations in New York held today a reception on the occasion of Qatar National Day . HE Sheikha Alia Ahmed bin Saif Al Thani, the Permanent Representative of Qatar to the United Nations welcomed the guests. The function was attended by the UN Secretary General, Ban Ki-moon, and a number of officials of the UN Secretariat. It was also attended by President of the 68th UN General Assembly Session John. Ashe as well as members of the diplomatic corps accredited to the United Nations, including representatives of Permanent Member States of UN Security Council. And also attended the reception were a number of figures of US society, including politicians, businessmen, as well as a number of media representatives accredited to the United Nations in New York, in addition to a number of members of the Arab and Muslim communities in New York.
