QC's Humanitarian Forum to Start Wednesday

Doha, October 27 (QNA)- Activities of Qatar Charity's first humanitarian forum for supporting Palestinian people will kick off here on Wednesday , with the participation of dozens of humanitarian organizations and charities from around 30 countries along with a number of regional and international organizations. The three-day forum will shed light on needs of the Palestinian people to launch strategic initiatives and attract support for funding and implementing humanitarian projects and programmes. Qatar Charity CEO, Yusuf Bin Ahmed Al-Kuwari said that the forum seeks to launch a common vision for humanitarian work in Palestine and strengthening relations between donor and recipient humanitarian organizations and institutions and to launch a range of strategic initiatives to meet the needs of the Palestinian people. He added that the forum creates opportunities for humanitarian organizations and donor institutions to identify the needs and priorities of organizations working in Palestine and attract support to fund humanitarian projects and programmes .
