QNCECS Organizes Voices of Teachers Forum

Doha, October 06 (QNA) - Qatar National Commission for Education, Culture and Science (QNCECS) organized a forum on voices of teachers in collaboration with the Supreme Education Council(SEC), UNESCO in Doha, Qatar University , Qatar National Research Fund (QNRF), on the occasion of the World Teachers' Day (WTD) which falls on October 5th every year and celebrated by the State of Qatar yesterday.     Speaking at the event, Dr. Hamda Hassan Al-Sulaiti, Secretary-General of the QNCECS said the challenges facing human being and understood by everyone need a creative and innovative human being capable to deal with developments and keep up with these rapid change. She expressed her appreciation to all teachers around the world for their sincere effort and hard work for building the human being and establishing civilization , saying success of the educational system in any country means a success of civilization and its excellence. She asserted that the teacher is a guide in the knowledge trip, an educator , a good example and an honest friend. UNESCO Doha Office Representative Dr Faryal Khan said that the celebration of the WTD is a unique opportunity to recall the fundamental role that teachers should play in the new education agenda.(QNA)
