QRCS Launches Urgent Appeal for Relief of Hurricane Hagupit Victims

Doha, December 11 (QNA) - Doha: Qatar Red Crescent Society (QRCS) has launched an urgent appeal for collecting $ 1.5 million (QR 5.5 million ) to support 1,300 families ( including 6,500 persons) affected by the hurricane "Hagupit" which recently hit the central Philippines. In cooperation with the Philippine National Association, the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) and the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies (IFRC), QRCS seeks to stand on urgent needs and humanitarian assistance for the benefit of hundreds of thousands of displaced people.(QNA)
