Beirut, July 24 (QNA) - As reports had been received about a fire at a Syrian refugee camp in Western Beqaa District, the Beqaa Governorate, the Republic of Lebanon, a team of Qatar Red Crescent Society (QRCS) immediately moved to the scene of the accident to help the affected families. The fire burnt 19 tents of Syrian families, 13 of which were totally damaged and 6 partly damaged. The intervention involved field investigations, listing of victims, and documentation of the damage, and coordination with Lebanon's Ministry of Social Affairs, the Office of the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR), the Lebanese Red Cross (LRC), and other humanitarian partners to provide urgent cash subsidies for more than 60 victims of the fire, QRCS said in a statement.
