RCA implements ‘Dress one million needy children campaign’ in Kyrgyzstan

Abu Dhabi (WAM): The U.A.E Red Crescent Authority (RCA) delegation has recently distributed children clothes to the needy children in the Republic of Kyrgyzstan. The move is part of the humanitarian initiative 'Dress one million needy children campaign launched by Vice President and Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum in cooperation with the U.A.E Embassies abroad. Dr. Mohammed Ateeq Al Falahi, Secretary-General of the RCA said the clothing project of children in Kyrgyzstan "is the third phase of the campaign implemented by the RCA to paint the smile on the faces of children there", adding that over 2.3 million children have so far benefitted from the campaign in over 50 countries, of which 20 are in Africa, 22 in Asia and 10 countries in Europe. – Emirates News Agency, WAM
