Reading for All conference concludes

Manama, Apr.25 (BNA): The "Reading for All" conference organised by the Arab Thought Foundation (ATF) and the Arabian Reading Association (TARA) concluded today. The two-day event was held under the patronage of Board of Trustees’ Chairman of the Isa bin Salman Charity Educational Endowment Shaikh Isa bin Salman bin Hamad Al-Khalifa Board of Trustees Chairman of the Isa bin Salman Charity Educational Endowment His Highness Shaikh Isa bin Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa. Board of Trustees Chairman of the Isa bin Salman Charity Educational Endowment Shaikh Isa bin Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa had deputised Education Minister Dr. Majid Al Nuaimi to inaugurate the event. Linguists, academic and cultural figures, teachers and writers attended the event which featured in its second and final day workshops for specialists and teachers, in addition to a discussion session themed "Children’s literature, key to reading". The participants and organisers have also been honoured in recognition of their efforts.
