Reconciliation forums to be held in Thailand nationwide

BANGKOK, May 19 (TNA) - The Independent Truth and Reconciliation Commission of Thailand (TRCT) will hold over a hundred public forums on reconciliation to help return Thailand to a society in harmony. Head of TRCT Thongtong Chantanrangsu said the forums would be held nationwide from June to July to allow government and private members to discuss reconciliation efforts. Thongtong, also Permanent Secretary to the Prime Minister’s Office, said he was confident that the forum would serve as a place where Thai people could discuss ways to ease future political conflicts.
