Reindeer Festival to run

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ “Reindeer festival” will be held in Khatgal soum of Khovsgol province on July 6-7. It will be organized by “Khovsgol Mon Travel” company for the 8th time at the “Dalai tour” tourist camp. The camp is situated on the shore of Khovsgol lake. The event is aimed at developing cultural tourism and publicizing a way of life and housekeeping of reindeer herders. During the festival there will be organized a fair exhibition of dairy products and a competition among 32 wrestlers. The programme of the festival includes various activities such as folk concerts by talented people, reindeer racing and reindeer polo to be organized for guests and tourists.
