Remains Of Two Siblings Of Sukhoi Crash Buried In Sukabumi

Bekasi, May 23 (ANTARA) - The family and relatives of the late Rully Dermawan and Fazal Achmad planned to bury the two siblings victims of the ill-fated Sukhoi Superjet 100 airliner at their family cemetery in Sukabumi, West Java. "We have a family cemetery in Sukabumi," parent-in-law of the two victims, Ferry Eyack (48), said at the house of mourning at Villa Galaxy housing complex, South Bekasi regency, Bekasi, West Java on Wednesday. ANTARA at the house of mourning reported that the two remains in dark brown wooden coffins arrived from Halim Perdana Kusuma airport in Jakarta at the house of mourning, Jakarta, at 11.20 am local time. Members of the extended family of the late siblings and their colleagues dressed in black and batik from PT Indoasia have occupied the house of mourning and expressed their deepest condolences to the bereaved family members. Ferry said earlier the family wished to bury the two sibblings in Bekasi, West Java, but at the request of their father, the burial will take place in Sukabumi. The two remains had been transported to Sukabumi at 1 pm local time after being prayed for at Adz-Dzikra Mosque beside the house of mourning. Rully Dermawan`s wife, Windi PrisciLa Eyack (38), said she had seen her husband`s remains neatly wrapped in a body bag at the airport. "I saw it, but it was in a wrapping, then I fainted," she said. Windi said she has accepted Rully`s death and will try hard to eliminate the trauma. She said the evacuation and identification of the Sukhoi victims had been quicker than she thought as she predicted it would take up to a month.
