Representatives Of Iranian Organizations Meet Mehmanparast

Sarajevo, April 10, IRNA – Spokesman of Iran’s Foreign Ministry Ramin Mehmanparast here on Tuesday exchanged views with representatives of Iranian organizations active in Bosnia and Herzegovina. During the meeting, representatives of the Iranian organizations briefed Mehmanparast on the activities of their organizations and their performance. Referring to the importance of Iranian public diplomacy, he stressed that presence of Iranian organizations and foundations in Bosnia and Herzegovina paved the way for strengthening of Iranian public diplomacy. As to his meetings with several Bosnian officials in the past two days, Mehmanparast said they expressed readiness of the Sarajevo government to boost all-out ties with Tehran particularly in the area of tourism. Mehmanparast, heading a media delegation, is currently in Sarajevo, Bosnia - Herzegovina, on the first leg of a three-nation tour which will later take him to Serbia and Croatia./end
