RMN Chief Receives Visit From Turkish Counterpart

KUALA LUMPUR, March 30 (Bernama) -- Royal Malaysian Navy (RMN) chief Abdul Aziz Jaafar (left) Monday received a courtesy call from the Commander of the Turkish Naval Forces, Admiral Bulent Bostanoglu (right) at Wisma Pertahanan, here. According to a statement issued by the RMN, it was Admiral Bostanoglu's first courtesy call on Abdul Aziz and was part of the Military Diplomacy to establish bilateral cooperation between the two countries and to enhance understanding in the Maritime Defence industry. Through the bilateral defence relationship, it would indirectly open up opportunities for RMN in exploring something new in the defence field to improve the navy's preparedness.
