Royal coldolences sent to Malaysia's King for Sultan Perak's passing away

BANGKOK, May 31 (TNA) - His Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej and Her Majesty Queen Sirikit of Thailand have sent a royal message to His Majesty King Tuanku Abdul Halim Mu'adzam Shah of Malaysia, expressing Their Majesties' heartfelt condolences to the passing away of His Royal Highness Sultan Azlan Muhibbuddin Shah Ibni Almarhum Sltan Yussuf Izzudin Shah Ghafarullahu-lah of the Malaysian Perak State earlier this week. In the royal statement, Their Majesties the King and Queen extended a profound regret to the Malaysian King, the Royal Family of the Perak State and the Malaysian people for the great loss. Their Majesties the King and Queen said that the late Sultan of Perak's official visit to Thailand in December 1990, as the then Malaysian King, has become a pleasantly warm remembrance for the Royal Thai Family lastingly. His Royal Highness Sultan Azlan Muhibbuddin Shah Ibni Almarhum Sltan Yussuf Izzudin Shah Ghafarullahu-lah of the Malaysian Perak State passed away on May 28 at the National Heart Institute in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia's capital, at the age of 86.
