Royal Court Special Envoy honoured

Cairo, May 25 (BNA): The Arab Information Ministers Council honoured today the Royal Court Special Envoy Samira Ibrahim bin Rajab as one of the most prominent Arab media figures for this year in tribute for her efforts to boost pan-Arab media work. The council also honoured during its 47th session, which convened today at the Arab League headquarters under the presidency of Bahrain, Egyptian Al-Ahram institution, describing it as a milestone and a source of pride for Arab press. The honouring also included a number of Arab media figures and institutions such as former Chairman of the Egyptian press Syndicate Makram Mohammed Ahmed and late Algerian journalist Nadhir bin Sabe. The council also honoured some Arab martyrs of the media work like Egyptian Al-Husaini Abu Dhaif and Palestinian Majid Abu Sharara. It also distributed the Arab media distinction awards of the three categories: investigative media, press column and photography.
