Royal decree on Ramadan Basket distribution

Manama, May 15 (BNA): His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa issued a royal decree to distribute the Ramadan Basket to families affiliated with the Royal Charity Organization (RCO) marking the advent of the holy month of Ramadan for the year 2018. HM the King issued directives to Representative to HM the King for Charity Works and Youth Affairs, Chairman of the RCO, HH Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, that the RCO to follow up the distribution of the Ramadan Basket to the aforementioned families in a bid to ease the living costs on them ahead of the holy month of Ramadan. HH Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad praised the royal care and interest in supporting the RCO affiliated families, affirming the Ramadan Basket is a humanitarian initiative reflects the royal keenness to deliver various forms of support to citizens to ensure decent living standards. It also targets supporting the RCO’s orphans and widows.
