The Russian foreign minister said during the work on the convention, the authors used ideas of Nicholas Roerich, which he expressed in the first act in that sphere, offered 80 years ago. "As soon as the barbarians are thrown away from the territories, where the UNESCO world heritage objects are, the organisation should send over there its missions to estimate the damage and offer plans to restore the priceless religious and cultural relics," Lavrov said.
