Russia, Cambodia extradition treaty almost ready — Lavrov

MOSCOW, 4 March. /TASS/. Russia and Cambodia are in the final stage of completing an agreement on mutual extradition, Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov said on Wednesday. "We are strengthening the contractual framework between Russia and Cambodia as regards cooperation between law enforcement agencies," Lavrov said after talks with his Cambodian counterpart Hor Namhong, adding that the extradition treaty was nearing completion. "A final meeting of experts has been scheduled for this month, after which we can carry out domestic procedures for signing," he said. Read more
