PYONGYANG, July 4. /TASS/. North Korean Defense Minister General of the Army No Kwang-chol and Russian Deputy Defense Minister Colonel General Alexander Fomin discussed the implementation of the plan of bilateral cooperation between the defense ministries of the two countries at a bilateral meeting in Pyongyang on Thursday. "The visit of the Russian Defense Ministry’s delegation is taking place in a remarkable period when Korean-Russian friendly relations are daily developing under the close attention of the top leaders of the two countries," the North Korean defense minister said, starting the meeting. "I think that this visit became an important moment of demonstration of the indestructible force of the Korean-Russian friendship and the development of military relations at a higher level in accordance with the demands of time," he highlighted. No Kwang-chol hopes that the bilateral negotiations that focused on issues of Korean-Russian bilateral military relations, as well as the visit of a military base, made it possible for the Russian delegation to form an idea about North Korea.
