Russia suggests schedule of Russo- Chinese EXPO exhibition

HUNGZHOU, April 28. /TASS/. Russia has suggested that the 2nd Russo-Chinese exhibition EXPO 2015 should be held on the territory of China in October 2015, visiting Russian Deputy prime minister Dmitry Rogozin told a commission that organizes regular meetings of the heads of the government of the two countries.The Chinese delegation to the talks is headed by Vice-premier of the State Council of China Wang Yang. "I would like to make a separate comment on cooperation between regions. We have suggested that it is possible to conduct the second Russo-Chinese EXPO exhibition on the territory of China, but for the time being at issue is Harbin," Rogozin said. "We suggested opening the exhibition in the third decade of October, which better suits preparations for a meeting of the prime ministers planned for the end of the year. We are also planning to invite governors of regions which neighbor Russia and China, respectively. In the near future the Chinese side is expected to confirm whether the suggested dates are acceptable," Rogozin said. Read more
