Russia, Thailand to hold meeting of intergovernmental commission on military technical cooperation

BANGKOK, August 10. /TASS/. Russia and Thailand have agreed to organize meetings of intergovernmental commissions on military technical cooperation and on trade and economic cooperation before the yearend, Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov said on Thursday after talks with his Thai counterpart, Don Pramudwinai. "We agreed to hold a meeting of the intergovernmental commission on trade and economic cooperation before the end of this year," he said. "As part of preparations for this meeting, it is planned to hold sessions of working groups operating under this commission, including working groups on agriculture, on environmental cooperation and on tourism." "It is also planned to hold this year a regular meeting of the working group on military technical cooperation," Lavrov noted. "We discussed preparations for this major event." Read more
