Russia, Zimbabwe set for practical cooperation in defence sphere

MOSCOW, August 26. /TASS/. Russia and Zimbabwe are set for practical cooperation in the sphere of defence, Deputy Minister of Defence Anatoly Antonov was quoted on Wednesday after a meeting with Zimbabwean Defence Minister Sydney Sekeramaya. The Defence Ministry press service said the Zimbabwean minister had arrived on a working visit in Russia to attend the Moscow international aerospace show MAKS’2015. "The sides had a detailed discussion of the bilateral agenda in the sphere of defence and related technologies and exchanged opinions on a range of international security problems, which cause mutual concern," it said. The two countries’ defence officials confirmed reciprocal plans to move forwards along the lines of a dialogue and practical collaboration between their ministries. Read more
